After 2+ days of attempted induction with not much happening, all of a sudden he decided he was ready to come out and see the world.

Jace Owen Leibman made his appearance at 11:38 pm on June 29.

The usual fun stats:

9 lbs 2.8 oz

21.5 inches from top to toes

It’s not clear what the kid will look like when he finally makes an appearance, but Heather’s descriptions of the dude in utero seem to alternate between heavy bowling ball, and a flailing martial arts novice. Maybe something like Hong Kong Phooey, of 70’s cartoon fame.

Using this information, I’ve created a rendering of what I expect our child to look like (see image).

Well it is now thursday and I am 3 days past my due date. I have decided to start charging him a fine for every day he is late. The good news is it has allowed us to get the website finished. For those who have requested proof that I am actually pregnant, check our our photos. We have uploaded pregnant picture of me and pictures of the nursery that we have so frantically working on for the last month since Steve finished classes. While I don’t think I will every really be 100% “ready” to have this child, I am more than ready to have him out.
